REFUND POLICY

At DAO-VERSE, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our handcrafted objects. Because each piece is made-to-order using natural materials, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both the artisan and the collector.

1. CANCELLATIONS

As our products are often handcrafted specifically for your order, cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase. Once the production or material selection process has begun, we may not be able to accommodate cancellations.

2. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Due to the handcrafted nature and the personal use of our handcrafted objects, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind" or personal aesthetic preference.

  • Artisan Characteristics: You acknowledge that subtle variations in handcrafting and natural stone inclusions (as defined in our Terms of Service) are part of the object’s unique identity and are not considered defects.

3. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged during transit or has a clear functional defect (e.g., a broken clasp), please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@dao-verse.com. To process your request, please include:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. Clear photos of the damaged item and the original packaging. Upon verification, we will offer a replacement or a full refund for the defective item.

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Customized or personalized orders.

  • Items showing signs of wear or damage caused by improper care (e.g., herbal incense beads exposed to water).

  • Sale items or Gift Cards.

5. REFUND PROCESS

If a refund is approved, it will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time (usually 5-10 business days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

6. RETURN SHIPPING

For approved returns (other than defective items), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
